It's been TOO LONG!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've last posted! UNbelievable. If anyone is still here reading, please forgive me. I've honestly had little to no desire to post (obviously). As some of you know, my cancer returned, so I was undergoing radiation, battling depression, and well, just trying to survive. I've lost a LOT of weight. I've been "dying" to get back down to this size--literally--but it's really not a diet I recommend. Here I was complaining about being the only one who couldn't lose weight on chemo. Well, it was finally radiation that took care of that! "Joy!"

Anyway, my spirits are up, and I'm happy to announce the latest release in paperback of WALKS ALONE!!! I'd like to add a photo, but my posts look a lot different right now. I'm not sure if I'll be able to figure it out. Let me give it a try.

Hey! It worked! Now my hope is that this will actually post! BTW, if you'd like to get your hands on WALKS ALONE, here's the link! Have fun!

Here's the book jacket copy:

A Cheyenne warrior bent on vengeance.

A pioneer woman bent on fulfilling a dream.

Until their paths collide.

After fleeing her abusive uncle, Anna is determined to reach the city of her dreams. But White Eagle and his fierce warriors take her prisoner. Anna attempts a harrowing escape, but her savage captor is determined to have her at all costs and forces her to be his wife. Has God forgotten her, or does He have plans of His own?

A man with a boot in one world and a moccasin in the other, White Eagle is disillusioned with his faith after a minister leads a massacre on his peaceful tribe. Where is his God? He’s definitely not with the white men who are slaughtering his people. But White Eagle also can’t give in to the idolatry practiced by his fellow tribesmen. Only the Truth can set him free.

And it’s found in beautiful Anna’s carpetbag.

Now, I'm looking forward to reading Yahshua's Bridge (have it already in paperback) as well as Walks Alone. Glad to know Walks Alone is out in paperback now too.

  7. Hi Sandi, I so understand your post. Trying to get my head up after months of dealing with cancer myself. Always glad to see you here but I appreciate so much that you give your best energy to what is most important, your great husband and beautiful children. I think your eldest daughter was six when I first met her in Holland. She has always been such a beautiful girl. Keeping you in my prayers as always. A J Hawke

    1. Oh, AJ. It's so GOOD to see you up and around! We just have to keep on keeping on, not just physically, but also in our faith. xxx

BTW, you first met me and Whitney in Holland when she was two years old! You taught at a ladies Bible study at Ans van Erp's house. Remember? I had LONG hair with a spiral perm. I always wanted one of those spiral perms. LOL
